Safer Jobsite presents jobsite safety information in clear language. The goal is to help readers understand a subject, recognize what needs clarification, and find relevant source material.
Source Selection
We prioritize material from OSHA, NIOSH, relevant state agencies, and equipment manufacturers when explaining a technical issue. Links are placed near the statements they support. The source’s scope matters: guidance for one industry, jurisdiction, or product should not be silently applied to another.
Clear Scope
Articles identify their subject and intended use. General introductions, worksheets, and toolbox discussion starters support site-specific procedures and training. They are not inspection certificates, proof of compliance, or authorization to perform specialized work.
Original Explanations
Examples and discussion scenarios are written to make a question easier to understand. Hypothetical scenarios are labeled. Images may be illustrative; they should not be used as procedural instructions. We do not invent testimonials, organizational affiliations, or professional credentials.
Review and Updates
Publication and update dates describe the content record. A technical reviewer is named only when that person actually reviewed the material and agreed to the attribution. Changes to source material, applicable rules, or the subject itself may require an article to be revised.
Corrections
When an error or unclear statement is identified, we review the relevant source material and revise the content where appropriate. Corrections focus on improving factual accuracy, clarifying context, or addressing information that is no longer current.
Urgent workplace concerns should follow the jobsite’s immediate reporting and emergency procedures.
